Today we drove to Guttet-feschel via Furka Pass near Andermatt and what an amazing drive that was. It was very difficult to stop and take photos because of the very narrow road. But I have on my itinerary to go back and do a round trip that incorporates 4 passes all in close proximity. This time we will take it slow and allow lots of stops. It is the most amazing thing I have ever seen.

We eventually arrived at our apartment and WOW what a view!! But everywhere here has a view. The road was, again, very narrow and wound it's way up the steep mountainside. How we ever found the place still amazes me. It turns out that it is not in fact at Guttet-feschel, but at Grachmatten. The address on the internet said Guttet, but I found the house because I recognised it from the internet photo.

The couple who own the apartment were away, but I think they live in the bottom floor and we had the top 2 floors. There is an attic bedroom that you can't see from this photo. Cute place but no internet. So for those who are following my blog and were wondering why there has been no additions lately, that is the reason.
